Cheers for that, Glosterred. Must get a copy at lunchtime. There was also an item on ITV local news this morning about Stanley's hynotherapist. Only caught the last part of it, but Jimmy Bell was talking about the difference she'd made to his concentration.

Re: daily mail today

The article in the Mail is more or less the same old stuff (milk ad, etc.) but with some nice photos, and is very welcome publicity. Had to laugh at Coley's question re. attendances and comparing Rover's cheap season tickets with ours - " Who would you rather watch, Chelsea or Altrincham?"?
Answer is easy - Altrincham, so long as Stanley are playing them!

Well worth picking up a copy. A well-written piece and, as Redraine, says some great pics, including a couple of very poignant ones from Peel Park.

Good for whoever got us this article printed.:)

Sadly my Mum reads the Daily Mail, so I will see it eventually, but can anyone scan it for everyone else to see?

I have tried to scan the page in......but the newspaper page is larger than the plate of the scanner and I can't get a decent enough copy.......sorry.

Great publicity for the club today; national papers and granada news; well done to whoever arranged these. Great stuff!

I'm not saying I was right, but very often all it takes is a call to the papers with an angle for them, such as the hypnotist, and you can get free publicity. The media are always on the look out for a story.

Well done to whoever at the club who did it.

You know me Rindy...ever ready to help. I'm sure there must be a way of doing it......but I must be maladroit because I can't seem to do it.....scan in the article I mean!

Re: daily mail today

We need to milk this (Accrington Stanley who are they?)

Our famous old club, on the verge of perhaps re-entering the football league after an absence of over forty year, makes a great Roy of the Rovers type story. We must keep it up.

Publicity= more people through the turnstyles, and more money in the coffers.

said it before Garinda, anybody with any skills that can be used must put them to use. I'm sure someone on here once turned a £500k turnover into £5m within 5 years by using the media wisely. Can't remember who it was though but I bet he must have ideas........

Rob has contacted me. If I can help the club in anyway I'd be honoured to do so.

I read it this morning and wondered if it would be mentioned on here. I thought it was very good - good publicity and hopefully more people will go to stanley.
