Ok next game for the Prediction League is the Conference game at the IES this coming Saturday against Burton Albion. Eee I remember when they gave us loads of stick in their clubhouse when they'd won the Unibond... Now whos laughing?? Anyway - this presents Stanley with a chance at another league double - what do you guys think the final score will be? I will go for a 3-1 Stanley win and the outright Conference record of 16 games undefeated (17 the following week against Crawley!

I think you'll find the longest sequence is Altrincham's 28 matches in 1990/91. That's only in a single season (see http://www.confguide.com/cgi-bin/allseq.mpl). If you start adding the end of one season to the beginning of another then it could be more. We've a 7 match run of wins at the moment so the record for the longest sequence of wins is a possibility and could be just the motivation for a win at Edgar Street!
