Mr Clogger, please don’t tease. :) I normally get over for them but I’m currently engaged with work. It would be helpful if some of the key points could be highlighted for those of us who would have liked to have been there. :)

how do they expect anything other than criticism when they offer nothing in the way of information (even just a link to theirown site where details surely must be posted) or help towards other worthy projects that are ongoing

Surely anything to do with the club concerns all Stanley fans? Or do we now have to pay an extra fiver on top of everything else for the privelage? I'm not normally one to complain, and this is the first time I've had anything to say about the OSC, but that sounded so Elitest, it was unreal.

I take it that you have never joined any sort of club then ? You will find that if you join any club you will probably have to pay to join.

While the OSC's aim is to support the club in any way it can, it is completly independant from the club,and so we have to raise funds like any other organization.Far from being elitist, we have members all over the world and anyone is welcome to join.

Sorry gotta pickup on that point.. its actually quite the opposite.. the supporters club is owned by the club and eric whalley has the final say on anything big.. its his supporters club.....its the official supporters club and very much tied to the club and a million miles away from being independant of it.


Also it isnt there to support the club in any way at all.. its only involvement should be to raise money and nothing else..Thats the difference between an offical supp club and an unnoficial supp club. the former is to support the club and the latter is to support supporters..


Also how do the supporters from all over the world know what is happening if they cant attend?


This post is in no way meant to offend or attack the supporters club... merely to clarify things as I see them and unless they have changed and its been kept secret then thats how it is :)
