Re: Club Statement
...I though Kipax was talking about the reserve game being off tonight :p
Why would players sign if they wernt happy with their wages?? I think its good that Coley can bring in good/young players in who are good enough for league 2 and still be on a low wage budget. |
Re: Club Statement
It's the first time I know of that the club have told us anything financial. I am used to undisclosed or none of your business... a breath of fresh air that they are backing things up with figures..
Players will already know about there wages and other clubs.. there not fick :) |
Re: Club Statement
I agree - it can only be good news that the club are opening up more to the fans
|
Re: Club Statement
yeah they probably knew they were paid less but 50% thats alot of money
|
Re: Club Statement
It's great that the club has been open and honest with the statement regarding income and wages, also good to see they're trying to get folk involved with the club once more, it's just a real shame more has not been done since we were promoted on the merchandising. But hey ho, theyv'e noticed, now let's see the club shop brimming with new products!
Come on you reds!! |
Re: Club Statement
lets stock up on all that tat that we need and lets do it now, Lee get your finger out and get the shop stocked up please

Re: Club Statement
As you say, Kipax, a real breath of fresh air, and I for one am reassured by the forward-looking stance. At least with our salary levels Coley hopefully will always attract "hungry" players who can develop to the benefit of all concerned. Unlike certain prima donnas not a million miles away who last night, according to reports, could not be arsed to chase any 50/50 balls! Give me 11 lads giving 110% every time, which is what Coley demands.
Onward and upward.:) |
Re: Club Statement
I take it the fees for Roberts and the likes aren't included as that should come in January.
Not too sure about reading these bits- "grant funding for the covering of the North Terrace in the next few weeks." "Longer term we have had some initial discussions regarding relocating to another site" "We do have to decide over the coming months though whether we spend money developing the present site or look at other options for the future" Sounds like there will never be a Clayton end roof at the FES if they do plan to move, could be another few year of getting p**s wet through |
Re: Club Statement
Also people please take note from the article how much the club can benifit from new members to the weekly draw, so if your not signed up drop in the shop or call the club and get a form sent to you.

I received a letter last week asking me to sign a new direct debit form because the club had changed bank accounts or something like that, anyway - I filled out the form and sent it back, next thing is I get a phone call from the bank asking why I had signed another direct debit form, they say all that has changed is the date its taken out of the bank - anyone else get one? sorry for going off thread |
Re: Club Statement
All I can say is well done to the club.
The honesty is greatly appreciated by all fans I am sure. On the wage stuff; now Ian and Gary are gone, I bet our weekly expenditure has halved :D :p |
Re: Club Statement
I think it`s Fantastic, and not many clubs come that clean.
Don`t forget Stanley have only been full time Pro for a couple of seasons, so if the finances are balancing it shows that everyone who we wonder what they`re up to HAVE been doing a good job. Cart On Boys and Girls The Future`s Bright It`s Red and White ! |
