Re: Dons going up?
My views on yesterday's game, for what they're worth.
Jacobson, has settled in very quickly; steady, composed and skilful, made Mullin's first, provides an outlet throughout the game, and takes most of the set pieces. Harris and Procter work their socks off, Harris was particularly impressive after Rocky was sent off. Mangan had his most mature display ever, and the goal said a lot about attitude, plus technique. Toddy; winger, full back, ball boy, first aider, all performed with enthusiasm, skill and humour. Not knocking the rest by ommission, but gone on long enough. Just one last word, we've still got our best player on the books, two chances in two months and they're both in the back of the net. Keep the faith, Cart On, etc. etc. |
Re: Dons going up?
I agree.
Jacobson did very well on the left and I noticed a lot of useful things Andy Proctor did. |

Funnily, I think there were a lot more positives from yesterday's defeat than last week's draw. |
Re: Dons going up?
Please can someone explain how you can get a positive from a defeat and if you don't like the word winger, then attacking midfielder - will that do! You can say we played well in parts, but at the end of the day we are one point above the relegation places how can that be positive??
