another one of Coleys' missions completed, he never lets one go when he tries to sign em.

I thought it was that Gav Cowan who signed for Grays til I read that he hadn't played for Forest, I was gonna look it up tonight and then post whether he was coming! Slow down Coley let the rumour mill start first!

Bradford get rid of lard-arse..
Wednesday, October 25th, 2006
Alan Rogers, the self-confessed Premiership standard left back, has been dumped by Bradford City to free up some cash to secure other players on a contract - which is quite amusing. The chubby Scouser was on a week to week contract having been released by Forest having contributed ****** all since Kinnear signed him for his second Forest spell, including being banned from the dressing room!
Colin Todd, the Bantams manager, claims to be disappointed to not be able to retain the services of Rogers, but ultimately it goes to show that the man who thought he was ‘too big’ for Stoke not that long ago when we were trying to offload him perhaps has a few ideas above his station right now - as he now finds himself without work.
It will be interesting to see if and when another team offers him an opportunity, and what level they are at - certainly rumours of dressing room unrest, rifts and bad influence didn’t endear him to Forest in his second spell with us - but ultimately it was his shamefully poor performances on the pitch that banged the nails into the coffin of his Forest career - regardless of whatever conspiracy theories he tried to propagate around the press upon his departure from Forest.

Must be a bit of history here....

Somebody tell me if i'm wrong but Rogers has just become the first Accrington player ever to have commanded a £2 million pound transfer fee.

He cost Forest that when he joined from Tranmere in 1997.
