Sorry girls....we've been a bit busy today discussing a set of accounts that show a profit for the third year running. Upwards of £700,000 over the period. I'm sure we will give you and your village team due attention later in the day;)

personally I'd be well cheesed off if I was a fan of a club that has a falling apart ground (yes I do know the story but you also know the story of why we have one), and a no better than mediocre football team but yet has shown a profit for three consecutive years and over 700k profit this year.

Well done to your backroom team for doing that but surely it is time for investment? If our threadbare, dilapidated, tinpot outfit can concede £15 000 gatemoney when we aint got two ha'pennys' to rub together, then I am sure your lot could do something similar.

Whether we win or not (and we're gonna :D) - it won't make any difference -you'll still be Welsh

Sorry, you misunderstood....the £700K is over three years. As you may be aware, the club is waiting for the go-ahead to re-develop the ground but it is to be part of much larger area involving housing, shops and business areas. So, until the whole project is approved, they cannot proceed.

Do you think the free admission day will show a long term benefit?

Re: a thread without Hereford mentioned .....

yes, you only need 50 people paying £13 for 20 games (based on the reported £13000 loss) to recoup that money. They may be new fans or they may be old fans who have wandered off the track, if they come back to us then it was worthwhile.

It was also worthwhile as the crowd surely gave the players the extra 10% for the last 10 minutes or so. The hardcore fans buzzed off the extra bodies making it feel like a cup tie so we gave it more than usual as well. If that performance and subsequent three points gives us the impetus to go on and string two or three wins together then it will have been more than worth it.

Roll on tomorrow!
