...and about an hour before the match, he played "6345789" by Wilson Pickett, which makes a refreshing change from all these daft beat combos that you lot listen to. Good on yer, Ricky! :cool:

To quote the Daily Express back in March 1962 (Phil Whalley's book):

I was one of the 1400 who heard the announcement of Paul Mullin's "equaliser" that put us ahead against Milton Keynes (not sure who made it). I am sure Stanley will always sound human but I hope it never becomes too polished.
