hartlepool rip off merchants
:( i for one will be boycotting this game place full of jobsworths and they charge you £18 quid how do they justify this price this for one of the reasons i am proud to be stanley we are not one of the money making schemes to rip off the fan we are a traditional club with common sense.i know as a fan it is our duty to support the team but this football club [hartlepool]stinks how do they justify this price i hope we absolutley stuff them and for one they wont get my money:(

Re: hartlepool rip off merchants
Bananaman, according to the football ground guide, it's also £18 at Walsall, so does this mean we won't have the pleasure of your company on Saturday?

Cheers for the info, Mike. I'll have a chat to the other lads I'm going with and decide what to do. :)

Re: hartlepool rip off merchants
The Walsall ground and facilities are very good - well worth the price I think.

Re: hartlepool rip off merchants
Did you lads go to Stockport, from memory it's £19. Swindon also come into that category.:banjump: :banjump:

Re: hartlepool rip off merchants
Hi Guys,
Hartlepool fan here, Im sorry you feel that way about our ticket prices but we kept the same prices we had from League 1. You will find in league 1 this is the norm for ticket prices as you may one day find out. If we didnt perform like we did and were stuck in this league a lot longer then the prices would have dropped. I seriously hope you reconsider and have a pleasant journey here, lots of places to visit near the ground esspecially our Marina and Historic quay. Hopefully see the Accrington Faithful here :D :D |
Re: hartlepool rip off merchants
I'm thinking of having a full day jaunt to this match.
Hpoollad - you mention things to see/do in Hartlepool. Do you recommend anything in particular (except for those mentioned)? I'd like to see more than the footy for such a journey. ;) |
Re: hartlepool rip off merchants
Well Historic Quay is like an old reinactment of maritime life in Hartlepool, Well worth a look. we have one of the oldest battleships there too called the HMS trimcomolee (bad spelling). Lots of things to see and do in there too. They have recreations of the old shops movies to watch and a guided tour of our "fighting ships" which tells a story.
Other things to do really depends on what you enjoy, there is a retail park just behind the ground and our town centre is about a 5 minute walk. best advice is just turn up and have a look around :) EDIT: We also have the Hartlepool museum situated behind the Historic Quay also worth a look if that is your sort of thing. You can interact with many things there and can make an interesting area. Cant really think of much more off the top of my head! safe journey |
