His first one at home, previoulsy scored at Derby. Ironically scored at exactly same time as Andy Todd today. Also doing us Dingles a favour :D

lancsdave 07-04-2007 15:00

Re: vs POSH

Other scores going your way too, although Macc v Wrexham might be better of it ends up as a draw.

Clayton End being notified by text as each score changes lol

Kiwi John 07-04-2007 15:06

Re: vs POSH

Yea I was trying to decide how that game would work out best for us- and I couldn't.

lancsdave 07-04-2007 15:09

Re: vs POSH

If there has to be a winner it's probably better if it's Macc. They have Boston on Monday as well so they could be out of the dogfight by Monday night.

Superb day, nice weather. Great game of football marred by a useless ref, but at least we got the 3 points we deserved.

7th April 2007, the day the Cow Shed Choir was formed with about 12 people, and we outsung the Posh fans as if they weren't there.

All on my Birthday too :D

Great win today and fully deserved, if for no other reason than the amount of effort put in by every player. Toddy was an inspiration today and hopefully won the MotM award.
Only downside was the injury to Antwi. Hope it's nothing too serious.

Toddy did get man of the match and the whole team got a round of applause as they entered the clubhouse...:)

Godwin Antwi was in the clubhouse as well, he seemed to be walking around ok..

went to the match today thought it was a deserved win as we created loads of chances,i expected more from the posh if they was going for the play offs, i hope the injury to antwi is not to bad and can still play a part in the last few games of the season, at least the other results have gone in our favour..........onwards and upwards.....we will stop up...:)

I was speaking to the BBC Radio Cambridgeshire journo today and he was saying that 'back in the old days' the Peterborough players used to get changed in the pub across the road from the ground, anyway the landlord at the time bought them a load of new kits and some directors/key fans at the club commented that they looked 'very posh' in their new kits and the nickname stuck, don't get me hooked on nicknames for football clubs, Dan got me started on Wycombe's and had to describe on air, same for Lincoln and Darlo lol. Give me the offside rule anyday :-)
