Bye then. I wouldn't even consider you a supporter if that's your attitude.

As long as he's outside the ground, that's ok ;)

Fancy making the effort to register for that viewpoint, first and last post?

I take it you're now busy writing to all the pubs, clubs, restaurants that you'll also NOT be visiting.

I understand not smoking on the terraces/stand but does this include the area where the catering unit is placed behind the terrace?

So when it gets tense or I get wound up I will only have smoke coming out of my ears :o

Lighting a fag makes me stop shouting at the ref as much....now what else can I do to stop myself getting banned? :D

Re: Smoking Policy

I was walking through Blackburn town centre today and there was a street vendor selling those bubble making things that kids love. He had a badminton racquet sized one held up in the wind and was filling Northgate with bloody bubbles. I thought "if I was allergic to standard washing up liquid could I sue this guy?" like wise for hayfever sufferers, should flower shops and market stalls be banned from displaying their goods anywhere near where an allergy sufferer may be subjected to the pollen? If I was a hayfever victim why should I be forced to alter my route to avoid flower shops? that is no different in my eyes to the smoking ban.

The daft thing is that there is a shop recently opened in Blackburn where they sell different flavoured tobaccos from around the world and all the customers sit around smoking it (apparently all legal - none of the wacky stuff!) ONLY A SMOKER WOULD WORK HERE OR FREQUENT THIS PLACE but now they are out of business as from sunday

We have had this law in Scotland since last year and the stewards at Ibrox are usually only too happy to take peoples season tickets off them, supported by the management.

It does not matter who does or does not want to steward, if anybody is seen sparking up they will be asked to put it out. If they are persistant, thye will probably be ejected. As I said, most of us like our foreign holidays and most of us fly to them, surely smokers can hang on for a couple of hours during a footie match!
