Saw it in the paper yesterday. Looking at Google, it looks like he's been up to all sorts over the years! Such a fall from grace from one of our better forwards.

I thought Andy Bondswell wworked in the pharmacy business? Doesn't mention that in the article.

I still remember his debut at Emley, when he scored scorcher.

He did and then something to do with Yorkshire water. You can see he got fired from that job for taking on his wife as a secretary Bondswell v. Yorkshire Environmental Solutions Ltd [2002] UKEAT 1366_01_3004 (30 April 2002) Scary what you can find out from the Internet. It's definitely him, I recognise him from the picture (has aged quite well on the plus side)

It is quite scary, yes. Seems he's had a bit of an up and down time of it.

He was a cracking player, though. I was surprised that he never played at a much higher level, but I always assumed that it was because he was already in a well paid job.

not long after he left us he was at Emley and was dropped one game, he and someone else (can't remember the name but I think he played for us as well, maybe Charlie ...) went into the managers office and threatened him with a crowbar. Played in the next game.

Nasty piece of work all round by all accounts.
