Re: The 'Merry Christmas' thread
Merry Christmas?...merry Christmas?...our gates are falling...we can't win at home...our manager picks useless barmpots while keeping talented players on the bench...what's there to be merry about?
Oh, alright, merry Christmas to everybody (especially Kiwi John who is a prime example of the fascination our name continues to hold, even for people who've never been to Accrington in their lives). Let's hope 2008 sees an upturn in our fortunes! :Banane25: |
Re: The 'Merry Christmas' thread

Re: The 'Merry Christmas' thread
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year...from Christie Park and CC.
Surely Boxing Day's game should have been between our respective clubs....Just doesn't seem right that we play Chester whilst you guys have a trip to Grimsby! :not_ripe::not_ripe::not_ripe::Banane47::Banane47: :Banane47::not_ripe::not_ripe::not_ripe: |

What's worse is Boxing Days are my mother in law's festivities and if I so much as go near any of their televisions to check the score I will be turned to stone. Attend the match? Forget it. I have been deprived of seeing my nearest Stanley game. |
Re: The 'Merry Christmas' thread
Merry Christmas to all my nearest league club supporting neighbours ( I couldn't have said that this time 2 years ago :) )
Hopefully you will get to see some good football and I can avoid the earache tablets :D |
Re: The 'Merry Christmas' thread

wembley for the play offs in May? Or Droylsden for the first game of the blue square in august? |

Re: The 'Merry Christmas' thread
Hello, Hilda here, Stan's not very good at this stuff, he get's very emotional about his football. But I know he'd want to wish everyone a merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
(Well, almost everyone, something about the tree's upsetting him this year, says it'll be better when the branches are chopped off, don't understand it, myself.) Anyway all the best from both of us. :) |
