New Years Day

I don't know about anybody else?
But this is one game with it being when it is I have been really looking forward too since the fixtures came out!
Looking round the Bantams site it is all ticket for them, I would expect them to bring the full 1700 allocation which should make for a great atmosphere!:)
Come on you Reds!

Re: New Years Day

This is also one i had looked really forward to going to, seeing as we were away the other 2 games over xmas, but i`ve now learnt that i have to travel down to London that afternoon as we have to start a job at 8am on the 2nd, i`m gutted as it now means i wont get to see them until the 19th Jan, f*&k.

The only updates i`ll be able to get of the game is if they do it on 5 live, not happy but my job has to come first i guess.

Bradford Season Tickets Holders can take advantage of a special offer for next season and renew at just £138 as long as they do so by 5pm next Monday

That's cheap, even for the Conference. ;)

Re: New Years Day

1600 Bradford tickets sold as of yesterday teatime. Twice as many as us already and thats before they start on the home end :hidewall:

I really hope the stewarding is on the ball for this one and that there are more stewards in the home end than the away end. The away end kind of polices itself unless they score but the home end is where it could get ugly

:thepint: + :icon_argu = :hesoff:

Re: New Years Day

Bradford took about 2500 to morecambe and average that I believe, there will be bradford fans in the home ends. And how can they stop this if they dont wear colours?

Re: New Years Day

It sounds as though Bradford will be getting the whole of the Whinney Hill terrace, as Chester did a few years ago. We'll definitely be outnumbered and it'll be more like an away game, which may not be a bad thing. ;)

Lol wonder if that 'feeling like an away game' give us the away luck of a win at home tommoz:D I have a feeling it'll be entertaining one way or tother;):D

Ladies and Gents,

Tomorrow's game I believe is FULLY policed.

Just on way to ground to attempt to ask a few questions ( I hope they are in!)

Will hopefully have some info later!!

Re: New Years Day

Sorry for the delay,

Got involved in several "projects" whilst at the FES including banter with a certain lady!

Can confirm the shop was open although EW allowed the staff an early finish, although who would want to work on New Years Day??

Bradford have sold 1300 tickets, although we expect large numbers to travel without tickets, hence the police presence!

As far as I know the Crown is open to all; and the clubhouse can be used by those in the main stand ( i think)

Lets hope for a good game, 3 points and a fantastic, safe atmosphere

Happy new year to all

And here was me thinking we'd found one person connected with the club who will actually talk to us. This is important to me - I will need beer tomorrow afternoon! Never mind, I'm sure he'll be back - I remember propping up the bar in the Globe one night around 25 years ago when SR walked in (he was just a young whippersnapper then) and asked if anyone had any old Stanley memorabillia, so he's nothing if not dedicated! :s_aim1:

There's a couple of blokes who stand on the right, near to where I stand, constantly slagging off Andy Procter. Maybe they're related.

Well in Bradford Morecambe is known as "Bradford by the Sea" on account of the number of the City's mill owners who lived out and commuted from there on the old Midland Railway's fast trains to and from Bradford Foster Square.

I guess that clubhouse is available to main stand users pre and during the match and I'm sure to all afterwards.

Collecting memorabilia years ago!!! Vague memories only!!

I'm always available to talk to all Stanley people, providing match day duties are done. All Stanley people are important, but the most important person is the man responsible for paying the monthly payroll. He MUST have the final say:psmile:

At last good communication from the club.. well done Southern Red. Why dont the club appoint somebody to listen to the fans ?? Possibly Southern Red who is well known and has credibility with the fans. I havent met anyone on here who doesnt want the club to SUCEED everybody is so passionate.

Give us a gree to loony tunes :tongueout he was at WSC NYE
