So, is your old fella one of those young scallywags sat on the wall at the Huncoat End in the photo in Phil Whalley's book? He must have an interesting story to tell about that day!

Dont know havent seen Whalleys book yet, tho he reckons he maybe one of the scallywags sat on the wall back facing camera with my uncle, black & white image, gave me dad bit of a worry as i got the picture & didnt know about it till i shown him - a bit freaky LOL:D

Yep, sounds like the same shot from the book. Your old man was certainly faithful to the end. It shames me to say it, but at the very moment that shot was taken, I was downtown drinking an expresso and most lads I knew were down Ewood! :o

He got in free hehehehe :D Oh dont get me wrong tho he likes stanley it was rovers all the way for him [i'd support claret before the primadonnas at ewood tho otherwise it was another red & white team - the colours in the blood] - he just comes up fes to see proper footy now & again :rofl38: I take more after 1 of my uncles as far as love of stanley are concerned, sadly not here anymore so im sure he posses me in spirit in the direction of die hard fan LOL:D
