Re: who will leave in january?
I know it was avery unlikely return anyway, but gillingham have put a bid in for Fleetwood.

Re: who will leave in january?
John Hartson can leave wba for free i think. 5,000 x 20 weeks 100,000 better than any striker in this or the league above in my opinion. He has always been big, but knows were the net is.

Re: who will leave in january?
I'd 2nd that bid especially if we do lose one of our existing strikers.

Re: who will leave in january?
Paul Mullin and John Hartson as strikers. What a combination that would be! It might mean even more route 1 football in one respect, but it would distract and divide central defenders - and leave huge gaps to be exploited by our advancing midfielders. Tactics!
But back to the theme of who will leave rather than who will arrive. I would not like to see Mark Roberts or Sean Webb depart. The reports clearly show that they were excellent at Mansfield. I am sure they will forge an excellent partnership in central defence. With Phil Edwards and Leam Richardson also in the back four, we could put an end to our alleged defensive frailty. |
Re: who will leave in january?
Hasn't Hartson just been awarded the CBA in the Honours List ? :rolleyz8:

Re: who will leave in january?
Mullin A January Target (from Lancashire Telegraph)
I hope Mullin does stay he is a Talisman, and epitimises everything that is good about Stanley:) One striker if we are looking who is very much in the Mullin mould is Jamie Mackie at Exeter but I would expect other clubs to be looking at him |
