Squad today

BBC site shows no Roberts, Webb or Mannix and Doughty only on bench. Bench also includes 32 Turner ?

Did you see Sparkies explanation for Turner LLS?

Re: Squad today

sure did, Kiwi - let's hope we get a shot or ten on target 2nd half, eh.

Mannix is waiting for international clearance. I really hope that he's got some creativity, as we are looking down the barrel of a gun.

I thought Craney was meant to be the playmaker or 'Great White Hope' in that department. Or is it Shaun Whalley these days?

Chris Turner, scored a screamer at New Mills pre-season.

Reported on official site in Wycombe preview

Deadline day signings Aswad Thomas and David Mannix will also be available to play, with the latter set for his second debut having played one game for Stanley whilst on loan here last season. Teenager Thomas will be making his Football League debut should he be selected.
Doughty played at Darlington and in my opinion did nothing wrong yet he was on the bench for the Wycombe game. Is this another of Coley's - sign a defender, dont play him, fall out with him, ship him out. Or is it just to accommodate Branch?

I think the club was just playing safe, after all we dont want to ****** up & cost us points or money, if the smallest of print was breached - so arse was covered:rolleyes:

According to an official at the club, Mannix was waiting for international clearance.

As for Doughty, well someone who was at Darlington told me that he wasn't very good in the air, especially when under pressure.

Personally I think Branch was played instead of Doughty in order to support the young lad Aswad Thomas. I suppose playing two very young lads was dangerous in Coleman's eyes, so played Branch as he has experience.

Yeh it definately seemed that way, Branchy was pointing out a few things to Aswad during game:D

Pity somebody wasn't pointing things out to Branchy during the game, such as 'Get out the f****** way'

So is that it now, Branch at centre half to look after whoever Coley seems fit to put in the team? If it is we might as well get the Conference map out for next season.

He got out of the way of most through balls, including a nifty stepover.
Thought the second goal was Rocky's fault.

Re: Squad today

who ever is in defence will get the blame.i still think a large proportion of the blame should go to the midfield they never had a look in on saturday.wycombes centre mid bossed and runned the game and it wasnt that ginger haired plonker as the daily mirror said today .which game were they watching:rolleyes:

Torres was the best player on the field by a long, long way.
