Re: Today Vs Stockport
Stanley played reasonably well in the first half without really threatening the County goal.
When they fell behind to a set piece again, the writing was on the wall. Stockport were not a great side and we should have a least managed a point. Thomas is too lightweight in the middle, and was easily turned on a number of occasions. Webb was unfortunate to give away a penalty, but Kenny saved well. We are lucky that there are other poor sides loosing every week. Three points on Tuesday is vital |

Re: Today Vs Stockport
Home crowd up a bit today. There were 1348 Stockport fans, and around 1200 home fans. The main stand was reasonably full but the Clayton End was quite sparce.

Re: Today Vs Stockport
Question? do we the fans of the mighty reds set our expectations to high? after spending years trawling our way through the non-league we have been spoilt. In reality are we still expecting year on year to be pushing for another promotion for crying out loud keep the faith and believe. We are still only in our second season of LEAGUE FOOTBALL when we stay up this season things will only get better,IMO it takes time for not only the team to adjust but the management as well. Its eay to critisise (yes i,ll hold my hand up i have done it) but as it has been said before and no doubt will be again if we do sack the manager who comes in, looking for a scapegoat is not the answer maybe the doubters should pick the team who,s fault will it be then?

Coleman bought or loaned all of this squad and as such should have the finger of blame pointed solely at he and his accomplices, he picks them he falls out with the good ones, the good ones move on, prove to be a hit with their new clubs and we keep losing . |
