The reserve team were beaten 2-0 last night by Vauxhall Motors at Great Harwoods ground. Jon Kennedy was in goal for the reds, and the team had three of four trialists in from Wigan Ath and PNE, none of which impressed. The first goal was a free kick nestled into Kennedys bottom left corner and the second a defensive error. The reds looked a lot brighter late on when the substitutions were made, but overall a miserable night.
