It's good, especially the live table, but it isn't as fast as the Beeb: BBC SPORT | Football | Live video: Final Score.

Now that'd be a revelation - watching Sky Sports News without a telly.

MCR ADIM 04-10-2008 14:36

Re: vs Barnet

It's been a lively few minutes. Cavanagh and Akurang have both entered the referee's notebook as the game has got heated. Adomah had another chance but his effort was blocked while Paul Mullin just couldn't get on the end of a Cavanagh cross. Miles fizzed a ball across the face of the area with Paul Mullin racing in but the referee James Linington bizarrely gave a foul - much to John Coleman's frustration who made his feelings felt to the fourth official. from accrington observer

What? English?
I've got Sky Sports Live Score Centre open to see football scores from across the world for free, which is the only thing I want.
I do not own or want a TV, nor do I have or wish to have Sky shown on any medium!

To be fair to him it was a professional foul. I do feel sorry for Rocky, when he's full on confidence he can punch above his weight and put in some brilliant performances. Today's events will do no good for him.

Bloody hell both Stanley & Dons 2-1 down. There will be sorrow drowning aplenty in Aberdeen city centre tonight.

Re: vs Barnet

Williams is a conference player at the most.

MCR ADIM 04-10-2008 15:43

Re: vs Barnet

What had happened is Birchall raced through and Phil Edwards tackled him on the edge of the area. The ref was going to give a free kick but it ran onto Adomah and the ref waved play-on. He was only about 10 yards out with Arthur to beat and Williams caught him from behind. No complaints about decision really.
Arthur must be mad - made a superb save for the penalty and then Yakubu had a free header

You silly boy...............i go to every home game & a season ticket holder, dont see the point of putting my coffers into another club so dont do away matches with the odd exception!

John Coleman was not a happy man in the after match press conference. He wants to see the sending off incident again and felt Kenny Arthur was fouled for Yakubu's goal. He also spoke about wasted chances when the Reds had opportunities to take the lead.

Im not moaning im being constructive as i would to coley & jimmy, im not getting the management out brigade but i do concern with some desicions made without the fans theres no team MATE! Thats a fact im sure eric would throw the biggest issy fit with only the few rosy glasses brigade who can afford to cough their dosh & watch owt cos its an excuse to beer it up after or before - & thats a little minority of the supporters!

I love Accington Stanley - Accrington Stanley FC ..... its the club not the Rocky, time & time again i repeat the mantra of THE BIG CLUBS Premiership styley........ NO PLAYER OR MANAGER IS BIGGER THAN THE CLUB! Players & management come & go but Accrington stanley will always live on & YES i want the best interest for it!:alright:

I thought a straight red was 3 games and hopefully 1 more for being sent off earlier this season. Better still, lets get rid - NOW - he is a liability

Only a straight red for violent conduct carries the 3 game ban. 2 games for foul or abusive language, and 1 game for preventing a goalscoring opportunity ( professional foul ).

They automatically add a game on for being sent off previous and that is cumulative, so the next time he gets sent off this season then he will have 2 games added on to whatever ban.

JEFF 06-10-2008 09:23

Re: vs Barnet

I agreed with Coley taking off Murdock before he was sent off, but why oh why replace him with Rocky. Murphy kept Rocky out of the team last season, Murphy was on the bench, why not bring him on instead of Rocky. I would be interested to see how many times Rocky has been sent off for Stanley and how many penalties he has given away. At the end of the day the fault lies with Coley and Bell. They signed all the players, they instruct them how to play, they decide on substitutions, they decide the formation and tactics so it's up to them to get it sorted.

JEFF 06-10-2008 10:46

Re: vs Barnet

Just checkd on Rocky's career. In the three seasons in the Conference he was booked 25 times and sent off 4 times.
So far in the Football League he has been booked 13 times and sent off 3 times.

Can't find out how many penalties he has given away but I bet it's in double figures.
