Back in Conference days, I can remember standing next to a Port Vale scout at the Gay Meadow - he reckoned Proccy was the best player on the field.

Would not like to see him go!! Not been at best this season but after his injury he is getting there!! Defo keep him. How big is our squad that we can let him go???

The problem with thoughts like that(Griffiths,Gornell Etc.) is that we must face facts that not too many players want to come to Stanley! Whilst we do have some that love the club(Mullin) and players that do really enjoy playing for the club and its fans(Arthur and Proccy to name but two) and it is my opinion that players like the former are incredibly hard to come by (Shearer spings to mind) and players like the latter also. Most just look at ££££ and keep on signing contracts. So I personally would rather have a Team of players that want to be there and not just turning up cos they have to!!!!

Totally agree with valarian,and can we afford to let proccy go if we can't get anyone to replace him?it appears to be getting harder to attract players to stanley as it is,not heard any news of any players being looked at and nothing on main web site as usual.Anybody know anything about any new players?.

Agree with you afrikaaner! What new players?????? Not too many want to come,what we need is players who are at the end of their years, but with some experiance i.e. Windass/Fowler Etc.(I do not mean these players,but this type of player!)

vicks are going unders why not pay small fee and bring in one or two just to bulck team up i agree give players new contracts.
