I've heard that this is judged on performances from January to January, so it hasn't really got any relevance to anything.

Dead right Shaker. If that was the case (Jan - Jan) where are the Peterborough strikers who shot them into League 1 ??? You are right Shaker - not worth a light. :):)

I'm only guessing, but I presume only players who have been in League 2 all of 2008 are considered for the vote.
Omar Daley's been injured since early this year so it must be Jan-Jan. Useless bloody thing (the award system that is, not Omar Daley. We'll have him).

This award is too tinpot for anyone affiliated with Accrington Stanley ;)
