Loweiy's certainly optimistic.

There’s fan optimism at Stanley, says Lowe (From Lancashire Telegraph)

...and I agree with him (provided we get the goalkeeper problem sorted).

Love Mullers to death :worthy::worthy:, but it was he who turned down the deal offered to him (2 year deal at 35.....) so if he really wants to stay, then he could do us and himself a favour and sign on the dotted............. ;):)

He turned down the deal because it meant a pay cut.

Re: bits n bobs

I know it was a pay cut, but he says he wants to stay at the club, so if he does then accept the deal and stay for longer, thats all I am saying. As I stated I love Mullers and think he is an important part of our recent history and if he wants it that much then he would sign up.

I'm sure Paul would accept any reasonable pay cut that he could afford to take.

Re: bits n bobs

I may be a bit thick here, but I don't really think it would be beneficial to the club to give a player a two-year contract because "he is an important part of our recent history". Surely that suggests that a large part of his job might now have been completed and now we should be looking for young, hungry players to take us forward. As I have said before, I agree with most folks on here that Paul has been a great servant to Stanley but he's done his job and now is the time to move on.
