J.P Kissock

Huddersfield have this lad on trial and it sounds like he impressed in our friendly at Gateshead today.

How did he get on for you? I understand he is only 5ft 6, did this prove to be an issue given the physical nature of league two?

cheers

Re: J.P Kissock

Forget the height, he is a mini Keegan (looks wise) and is a great little player. Played very very well in the few games he played for us....... If you get the chance and can afford him, SIGN HIM UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They say football is a game of differing opinions and so it seems. I thought he was ok, but never really stood out. I wasn't disappointed when he left.

Re: J.P Kissock

I thought he had one of those unteachable knacks of being able to create himself 5 yards of space with a drop of the shoulder (similar to Rostyn) but he didn't seem to do a lot with the space. Possibly unfair as he had been injured before we got him and he got injured whilst we had him.

Good potential though

Re: J.P Kissock

He certainly impressed the fans who went up to Gateshead so could well be given a few more chances to shine in pre season. I can see Clark handing him a 6 month deal to try and prove his worth

is Ian Craney still with you? and I hope you are still looking after GAzza until we can afford to take him back off you :D

Re: J.P Kissock

Craney played in the game at Wakefield. We sent two equal strength sides to both games.

He is one of a number of players Lee Clark is looking to offload. He is on a decent wedge and is pretty useless, especially his fitness.

Feel free to offload any in our direction, preferably a keeper,a striker and any centre halfs you have spare!!

Re: J.P Kissock

We are trying to offload Matt Glennon - keeper, Keigan Parker - Striker, Phil Jevons - Striker, Tom Denton - Striker, Michael Flynn - Midfielder, Craney and Chris Lucketti - Centre Back

I bet we are paying them a combined total of close to 20k per week

Some how i don't think you would want to take their wages on plus the fact they aren't worth 1/10th of what they are earning...wasters the lot of em

Phil Jevons would be quite useful if he's cheap enough

If by useful you mean get 2 goals a season and contribute nothing else, then yes he would be quite useful

He is not the player he once was (if he was ever anygood). He doesn't even go in the box now, just floats around outside the area
