what about this for an idea.......

On Friday the 11th of Sept Accrington Stanley play darlington at home and we obviously havent got a game.

What if we the fans organise to go to Accrington to show our support? They are a friendly club and 10 of us went last seaon in our colours with absolutely no bother at all and in fact their chairman came over to us and thanked us for going. Obviously Accy would be made aware of it..

Bury Fc could put a message on the main website calling for our fans to go to Accrington and they will benefit directly from us being there.

Forever Bury could also get involved by emailing all their members, setting up a facebook group and it could be announced at this saturdays game at half time. A good luck banner for the game would be a nice touch also.

Yes Im asking for people to go out of their way but they went out of theirs and they helped us have a club to support today.

Here is a facebook group that I have created outlining what we as Bury fans are hoping to do.

Leaflets will hopefully be handed out on Saturday at the game to Bury fans informing them of the idea.

I think that every last Accy web member who has a Facebook account should do the same, Helluva way to advertise don't you think. I have done it, Mab has c'mon the rest of you, you know who you are.

At the moment with work being carried out on the cow sheds its holding just over 4000 i think its around 4100.

A big thankyou to all Bury fans, and everone else who gives their support,
If we could get 4000 on it would probably mean an extra £32,500 towards the clubs survival. a massive help. Please do what you can everone.

IMHO, this is what football is all about, it may not have been your idea bfc72, but I applaud you and all the other Bury fans that may turn up. I will be at yours on Saturday, and will show my appreciation, along with many other Stanley fans I'm sure.

:) PM from our VALE friends :)No problem mate. I'll be up there next Friday. I'm going to knock our away game to Aldershot on the head and come to this. It's a very worthy cause. I've just joined the Bury facebook group aswell. I can remember when Luton came in numbers to Vale when we are in trouble. It shows what a tight nit bunch football supporters are.

I reckon we could get 500 Bury fans up there and yesterdays result doesnt seem to have stopped any. Well Ive not heared anything anyway.

keep up the good work were a little fed up with the footy at the moment but we are right behind you on this.
