Transparency………I like that word, perhaps both the Club (Mr. O’Neil) and Mr. Khan Will both respond accordingly and outline their individual agenda’s for Accrington Stanley so that the supporters can make a clear judgement on our own future.

I’m surprised to here about the Ladies Team, I wasn’t aware that they where suffering in anyway.

I think it would also be nice to know what the ASSF are doing in our name; this also troubles me, I understood that they would be responsible for raising funds as a long term venture for the club as well as being a conduit for the Khan offer; if the Mr. Khan offer of 250k is accepted and Mr. O’Neil turns over shares in return….Who is going to be investing in the club long term, in short who will pay the bills that the gates fall short of and will continue to do so for some time.

If it is going to be Mr. Khan why doesn’t he just buy the club and move us on.

BTW I'm not saying that Raggy Thun is wrong, only that we need to be vigilant against trolls and against deviations from the all-important task of raising funds for the SOS appeal.

There will be plenty of time for anger and recriminations once the future of our Club is secure ;)

The problem we have Doug is that if Mr O'Neill won't sell his shares then Mr Khan or us can't force him to.

Because of the debts, in reality Mr O'Neills shares are worthless but it looks like he's clinging on to them for whatever reason. If its to get any money he paid for the shares back then he's an idiot because O'Neill has been at the club since 2004 so he knew full well the state of affairs before he even bought Erics shares and so if he gave Eric £1 for them it would still have been too much. Like you said earlier, nobody should buy in unless they can afford to support us long term.

It says in the article that Khan is an investment banker and that he's bailed us out before and I bet if he's willing to throw £250k at it then that could be just the tip of the iceberg otehrwise he might aswell just set fire to his £250k. The corporate sponsorship & contacts a merchant banker could bring to us could be massive.

Mr. Khan does not want to buy Mr. O'Neill's shares, if he did buy them the money would go straight into Mr. O'Neill's pocket. Mr. Khan wants a new share issue so that the money goes straight into Accrington Stanley FC

So The DON is on holiday, I think that is a fact at present, he could still be on his laptop/mobile organising things, whilst getting away from the club, he may be operating better and thinking more clearly??

Just a thought :) :) :)

A fair riposte , wouldn't you agree Cashy ??....But whilst the rather cynical Homonym is easily recognised....the implication fails to impress!!...

(Alfred.E. comments thus:-It's patently clear that'A leopard can't change his stripes !' ....now that is profound!!)

For Doug ......

Off thread but as you raised the question a few posts back I just have to know - are you going to make it as a porn star? :D

And if you do, will you pledge your earnings to SOS?
