Re: "Save Our Stanley"

I’ve been reading back some of my posts and feel that in the heat of the moment I have been over zealous in some of my criticisms. Should I have offended anyone please forgive me….

Now what is the chance of the club doing a Q&A session on here to boost confidence and maybe stimulate desire to further assist in the raising of funds? Perhaps both Mr. O’Neil and Mr. Khan would benefit from such an excise.

How about a fiver for each question (up front for the SOS) just to ensure fairness and to keep the questions reasonable…

Not many there, the usual after the match crowd then quite until about 11pm and the it was packed out for an hour or so.

Good to see the manager and chairman there.

Ended up leaving just before 1am.

Just a possible idea, thinking about Grimsby they managed to get local firms to sponsor games so that entrance fees were subsidised and therefore had a lot bigger crowds. Does anyone think that this could be explored to raise gates for the next two homes games? If not I think that Friday night games will help to increase the fanbase in the long-term.

Also, Darlington did a sponsor a minute advertising which helped them raise circa £6k maybe this could be looked at as well ie so that if you sponsor it and a goal is scored in your minute you win a prize liked a signed shirt, if you charge £10 per minute it is £900 into the pot.

Of course Red I I wouldn't know for sure ..BUT might it not appear to you also, that He/Them/They/ or Those might just have given this industrious little ladythe "MARCELLE WAVE" ??...GOODBYE !!...

Which is not meant to sound as critical of, or cynical towards our joint-chairperson as some postings from one or two cheeky Clayton-Enders would openly seek to imply!

I am. even as I write, expecting this week a proliferation of Pounds/Euros/Roubles/ and possibly a few Bhutanese Ngultrums arriving to push up the Mercury in the SOS 'Totalometer' ...as a concrete demonstration of her fiscal conquests across the North-west of England!!...which will knock these detractors for six!.

As a confirmed Philogynist, I can only hope that my faith in M.Lazarus has not been misplaced and that she eventually shows us a thing or two!!....

:) Well i hope your right yonmon,That Totalmeter only moved by just under £700 (which we thank everyone for) and still no sign of the donations and golden gate money going in the pot  unless its put in under private donations of cause..Im sure the coffers will be swelled by yesterdays bucket collections and other fund raising events:)
