I offered my professional services in this area for free several years ago but was treated dismissively by the Club. They thought that I was only up to selling raffle tickets, and not very good at that either.

This has happened so many times to so many other qualified, experienced people who just wanted to help Stanley but were treated with suspicion by the then regime.
Nevertheless, we were loyal to Eric because it meant being loyal to the Club.

You can expect things to be rather different in future, I suspect.
