Doug referred a couple of days ago to the debt having 'been paid'... what does that mean cause I've not seen anything ?.. or like REDRAINE says "Have I missed something?"

Should we assume that the need to Donate/Fund raise is now over; it’s now the 17th October 2009, ten days from the last update so it would appear that any urgency to continue as passed. I only ask this because the money I’ve been sending each week is money that I would have normally bought a bottle of Grouse with; so if you arrogant bastards at the Club don’t want it I will be going out to get a bottle when I go shopping this afternoon instead of paypal in over my gate fee and for this point on all other donations from me will be going to Cancer Research and Help For Heroes.

My apologies John, Valerian and others this was a miss use of words in the excitement of day, what I meant to say is that now funds are at hand, the worry is all but over and we can be happy. Still looking at the current Total for the SOS fund it might be all bollocks

Why, it’s nice and mallow and at £20 a litre it’s not bad….Better than the £40 75cl bottle of 18 year old Single Malt I developed a taste for last Christmas; no wonder I’m nearly bankrupt….:D

With two weeks left in which to pay off a £308,000 tax bill, Mr Heys revealed that local businessmen have offered the club short-term loans of £50,000, added to £150,000 in donations and £100,000 invested by directors including joint chairman Dave O’Neill.
So the club has been saved using borrowed money.

When does it have to be paid back and where will they find the money?

When will the next court case be with the tax man for the outstanding tax since the unpaid £308,000?
