just been reading the forum re stanley and compared it with that of south end united
there seems to be similar details for those who read they are given till 4th november too only they have been given that time to go into administration maybe that will be the best thing and get rid of the current directors and let a new broom sweep clean

let Ilyas do his stuff get in a new board with people who care about accrington stanley and accrington and who have run successful businesses in the past i would not let any of the current plonkers run a party in a brewery (even in the Crown)

We are a Football League Club being run by amateurs in the same way that they ran Stanley in the Unibond League. Things you do in non-league football you cannot get away with doing in the Football League. We need to be professional behind the scenes and as soon as we are I am sure that we will all see a difference

:(:mad::eek: It seems to me that Dave O'Neill and Eric Whalley are now clearly out of their depth. Both financially and in their lack of business acumen. Eric did a great job leading us through the non league pyramid. Counting tenners on the stupid granada programmes was ok in non league but simply won't do in the football league! Eric and Dave seem to have a kind of outdated Victorian "Mill owner" mentallity. They display a, "Me me me", and ,"MY club", and ,"I won't let the club down", attitude that will only lead to failure. Time now for Eric and Dave to show some grace and common sense. Let Ilyas in now and the club will survive. I am sure that Ilyas would bring in somebody who knows big business well who could take us forward into a more secure future
