:):):) Nice to see things are moving along in the right direction:)
Accrington Stanley meet again over Coleman's new deal ACCRINGTON Stanley say they are close to agreeing new deals with manager John Coleman and his assistant Jimmy Bell. Coleman and Bell are currently working with a verbal agreement of a rolling one-year contract but have been keen to secure a new deal in writing. The pair have been in charge of Stanley for almost 11 years, but chairman Ilyas Khan promised to reward them with extended deals when he took over at the Crown Ground in November. “We are very close to that being signed now, although I know we have said that before,” said chief executive Rob Heys. “We met with them on Tuesday morning, although the length of the contract is still one of the things being discussed.” New deals for strikers Bobby Grant and Michael Symes, out of contract in the summer, were also discussed with Coleman and the Reds hoping an agreement can be reached with their top scorers in the near future. |

Re: Stanley Bit's & Bob's
Isn't there 1 or 2 other top refs at that match as well????
|
Re: Stanley Bit's & Bob's
Alan Wiley 4th
Dave Allinson Head of FL refs will pay to watch the game He thinks Mike Riley will also attend. As all his full time collegues attended his fitness test to cheer him on, I suspect that any full time northern refs may also attend!!:) |
Re: Stanley Bit's & Bob's

Re: Stanley Bit's & Bob's
Sadly for Halsey he has had to go through lots of grief to have people turning up to see him on the field. There are plenty of refs who turn out every week who think the crowds have turned up just to watch them

Re: Stanley Bit's & Bob's
Good luck to Mark Halsey on Tuesday.:wave8: He and his family must have had a really difficult time recently. We all give the referees some stick at times but lets all at the crown ground give him a heartfelt welcome back to football.:mosher:

Re: Stanley Bit's & Bob's
The thing is, he didn't play against Stanley. Although the point is better made using Stanley (Pride of Lancashire) instead of Morecambe.
