informal meeting with fans
 

I will be in Accy on Thursday this coming week. It has been suggested that it would be a good idea if I made myself available to meet with fans (especially since not everyone has www access or wants to use the bulletin board to ask their questions).

I am therefore using this thread to find out if there is sufficient interest at short notice to move forward with a meeting.

IF it takes place it will be at the club and the decision point will be tomorrow (monday) night. between now and then will you please let me know if you think you can make it.

as usual, all questions are acceptable. Usual rules of politeness and courtesy will be applied. If the meeting happens it must be over by 7pm.

Shame that some good people can't make this.

Just to remind everybody that on Thursday (at present) we are hosting Burnley and Everton in the FA Premier League (Reserve North)

Ilyas, are you in the north after Thursday??? How about Fri evening (if the Lounge and your goodself are available) or noon Saturday??

After the game!!

We're either extactic from the win or lost for words on the few occasions we loose!!!

Also the lounge may have a function booked, so a meeting may not be possible.

Thursday would be ok for me, then again so would Friday or Saturday before the game - I'll go with the majority

I don't know if anyone on the messageboard has any shorthand experience but if they have and I can make it I will gladly pose people's questions, if somebody else can make notes of replies?

Pendle, can i respectfully suggest that we keep the meeting as informal as possible. that way we get the most out of it. if anyone wants to keep notes for their own purpose, then great, but otherwise, please can we just pitch up, and chat as openly and without restrain as possible. god knows there are enough "formal" meetings as it is !!

Sorry Ilyas, I cannot make that meeting, working in Preston until 6pm at the earliest, so by the time I got to Accy, meeting would be over.

Hello everyone. good evening. after all the messages/PM's/emails etc i think we are struggling to get a decent quorum. therefore there will NOT be a meeting on thursday, but i will give enough advance warning and have something in a couple of weeks time. watch out for notice on this bulletin board.
