Stanley on TV
 

There was a short item on BBC North West News this morning reporting the fact that Stanley have sold a record number of season tickets, accompanied by a short clip of the lads training at Wilsons. Excellent pre-season publicity for the club. Did anybody else see it?

OK, well, you lot might not have seen it, but a Burnley fan did, because he's posted on the ClaretsMad message board. And now, they're whinging about their fans deserting them to support us. The more the merrier, I say!

:rose8: Remains bad news for Burnley though, some of those season ticket holders had previously had season tickets at the Turf. Certainly not in our best interests for a side six miles away to be doing too well and it would cost us even more if they got into the league.


Just been and read it lol, above is one of the quotes. My how can they be worried by little old Accy unless they are expecting the worst. All you Burnley fans come and watch a team that is not broke and bring your Rovers friends as well. :)

yeah well its nearly gone full circle now, since the days of Bob Lord who offered to help Stanley in their hour of need then thought sod it we can have all their fans instead, Stanley are only claiming the fans back which are rightfully theres anyway and its about time too.
