Is anyone else concerned?

Forgive me for raking over old coals, but am I the only one who is seriously worried about the lack of a statement from the club re the lifting of the current transfer embargo? Less than a week till the new season kicks in and we still can't register players just what the hell is going on?

And don't forget, Mr. O'Neil said 'There's no panic'????????

Mind you, he also said we were '99% there' to paying the tax man - yes I'm worried

My guess is that the registrations are already in place. The Football League themselves would suffer great embarrasment by not allowing Stanley to fulfill their opening day fixture.

I think you are right given the dispensation already made for Portsmouth.

UK, you're far from alone. A few days before the scheduled kick-off and not only can I not get excited but am getting stressed to the point that I am living on the 'puter waiting for the magic announcement. Club emailed to enquire if I wanted to renew player sponsorship and have said postponing answer as last season's shirt has not appeared. Took opportunity to ask if enough registered to fulfill opening fixture or postponement required.Might get the same zipped lip policy that the FL gave me. Maybe LET can get more than just a rolling deadine. Keep taking the tablets till those nice men in white coats bring us a new jacket !

Larry I sincerely hope that you are correct, but it would be nice if the club put us in the picture.

LLS, I hope you get a positive reply.......not sure whether to hold my breath or not!!!

am keeping an eye on bbc sport transfer news as I figure any registrations will appear there first - fishy may be delayed to aggravate us winging bar stewards.
