Lads and Dads Evening

Accrington Stanley Community Trust are holding a 'Lads and Dads' evening for this Friday evening's fixture vs. Lincoln City.
The session will be held in the sports hall at St. Christopher's High School, Accrington, 6pm-7pm.
The evening will cost £10.00 which will include 2x tickets for the match that evening. The session is aimed at children from 5-12 years old and Dads of all ages.
The 'Lads and Dads' evening is a project which encourages parents to get involved with their kids whilst having some FUN in the process! 'Lads and Dads' helps fathers/step-fathers/uncles/carers and their children to extend their relationship through the power of football. The football session, which will focus on team building, will be based in a safe, secure environment. The hour, of the relaxed football session, will involve mini-tournaments emphasising the element of fun and enjoyment created through football.
Once the activity is over, the fun can continue as you will receive a pair of tickets for Accrington Stanley vs. Lincoln City, kick off 7:45pm. All Lads and Dads must be pre-booked. To book your place call the Accrington Stanley Community Trust on 01254 356950 or email [email protected].

Having taken part in similar Evenings when my two lads were younger albeilt with the Clarets, these Evenings are great a real chance to spend some quality time with your kids and also mix with other Stanley Fans then watch the game after.

I really do hope that perhaps even people who would not normally come to Stanley pick up on this and come along, it's things like this that will really help the Club to build for the future..

Well done to the Club for arranging it hopefully it will be just the start of similar things:)

Re: Lads & Dads Evening this Friday

Whilst I applaud this initiative, I have not seen it advertised anywhere but here. I would have thought that the likes of this should be pushed outside of the club, papers, flyers etc.

Also it's a bit sexist, what about us dads that have daughters lol ;)

I, none the less hope it is a huge success!!
