As a Supporter of ASFC I would like to put my weight via this forum to demand that the long running contract talk with John Coleman & Jimmy Bell is resolved forthwith with a contract at ASFC that they deserve.

Pointless thread IMHO. Only direct action outside this messageboard will have any effect. Something like a protest march or a campaign to bombard the media with demands for the guilty two to account for their actions on air or through the newspapers via a TOUGH grilling.

Although probably only a small percentage of the fanbase post on here, I think it fair to say that the views expressed are a fair representation of the whole. It seems clear to me from a distance that the fans want no other football stewardship than our John 'n Jimmy. So what on earth can be behind the off-field management blocking what we are all clear is top priority ? It almost seems as though there is some dark secret agenda in the boardroom. There may or may not be sound reasons behind 'legal stuff' delaying a supposed club statement but surely a simple contract matter is not dependant on it. If the duo we want leading our football team are lost to us through ineptitude in the boardroom then those responsible should not be surprised at the vehemency of the backlash, even if Messrs Ferguson & Wenger\got a contract instead. Time for cards or contracts on the table like NOW.

The departure of Messrs Whalley and O'Neill is long overdue. The best that can be said is that they are yesterday's men holding back a potentially great future for this club.

Their treatment of Coley and Jimmy is a scandal.

We need to show some way of standing together in our fight to rid the club of the wrongs within the current management structure. We have to be pro-active if we are to get the club to where it needs to be which is free of DON and EW. I went to the last candlelit protest and although it didnt make much difference to the court date at least it showed that as fans we have a common goal on which to move forward with.

I agree completely.

Back in the summer I did Stanley's pre season preview for When Saturday Comes magazine. The final question they asked was what one thing I wanted to see happen at the club and I mentioned the JC/JB contract situation needed sorting.

I couldn't imagine looking over at the dugout and not seeing JC/JB patrolling it.

I would be interested to know what the general opinion is about all of this with The Ultras. Their voice obviously carries a lot of weight, would anybody from The Ultras be willing to comment on this.

I can not believe that October is around again and we have issues with regards to running our beloved club, are these people in touch with what they are doing.

They upset the fans now JC and JB, are the players going to be next.

The only contracts that need setting on fire is them two wombats, who aim is to urinate on all they can. ( I would of said them two clowns, but clowns are entertaining and funny and these two are certainly not)

I find it a little strange that in this new era of transparency we have heard nothing from Ik,
I think it would be more than a little reassuring if we heard something from straight from the horses mouth . I realize he is a busy man but he seems to have time to speak to telegraph & Radio Lancs.:confused:

Ultras are fully behind any protests & are scheming as we speak. Something will be done at half time at Bury & full time at the next home game. Fans can help by joining in at the front of the away end at half time & by staying behind after the next home game. We are sick of all thge constant bad press & mis management. We are fantastic on the pitch & unique in the stands. Absolute @@@@@@ off it!!!!

We have lots of ideas to raise awareness of both JC's contract & the shambles at the club (D'On, Eric, Rob).

We are reluctant to hit the club in the pocket but really think it will be the only way?

How about a blanket ban on the Crown pub for one game? We have discussed it on out forum but wonder what everyone else thinks?

Although myself am only a recent addition to the fan base that is the "Stanley family" I agree thoroughly with older & wiser heads who've been there from the start. That being the case I would happily like to add my voice to the growing chants of discord brought about by Messrs O'neill & Whalley. For their loyal & respected service, Coley & Jimmy deserve so much better ! get a grip & get it squared for the good of all !

Don't think that a blanket ban on the Crown would have a lot of effect as the away fans would use it. Next home game is Rotherham and they will bring a few with them.

Something must be done to rid Stanley of EW as he is the one who will bring us down.

I don't think a blanket ban on the Crown pub would even be noticed. Only way to voice any disapproval and get noticed is inside the ground and outside the offices. obviously not while the game itself is on :)

Got to agree with Dave, Willie..............any protest must be loud and proud, something the Ultras are good at without exception, IMHO it should be pre match outside the offices, on the terraces and main/whinney hill stands at half time, and again outside the offices at full time. Obviously when the game is on then we must get behind the team.

By all means boycott the crown, but again people must be made aware of why.

there lies a long standing conspiracy theory that EW wanted to deliberately run the club down (not sure why though) taking money out of the club would serve to fuel that desire (if it were true)

The club has long since alienated the town

The players rarely seem to get paid on time

The club has done its damndest to alienate the fans

The club has seriously undermined the greatest manager it will ever have

I think everyone agrees that this should never have happened; but its panic over and John and Jimmy can look forward now to the rest of the season and the money promised by Ilyas to buy in talent during the January window.
