Won't stop the call going out for volunteers, though. As for the work to be carried out, thought it was extra terracing at each side of the Coppice End, which seems a fair bit of work to me, especially as we're into the second week of December.

18 days left to add the extra terracing to stop us being chucked out of the league.

I assume construction work is now at an advanced stage?

If that's the case we kiss goodbye to the football league then - there's only so much grace they can grant us as per usual we test it to the limit or ignore the seriousness of it, whether we like it or not that is the conditions imposed when we moved up.

The football league aren't totally heartless. They won't expect a stand extension to be built in 2 weeks in this weather :)

It is just unbelievable that we leap from one situation to another and still we hear nothing from the club management nor Ilyas either. Something has got to give otherwise we will be playing Conference football sooner rather than later. I seem to recall Rob Heys stating the other week that it was well under way and would be completed way before the deadline. How likely is it to happen, probably not at all. Why say things if they aren't going to happen?:dflam:

Re: Ground Capacity

we had loads time to do it all . we had more let off by the leagues as well as non league to most blue prem grounds better than us would we be let in to blue prem. board have loads time to build new bloodly ground it for people to step down and new to step up. mr accy were are you now???????? still down under.

Re: Ground Capacity

My thoughts are those than own stanley currently are simply not bothered and would prefer the less professional amplitude of non league - easy way out to blame the football league then

Like I say my suspicious mind is daring to ponder that whilst silence prevails at Asfc. But I'll be wrong of course and work has been secretly done without us knowing on the flip reverse :)
