Matchday price increase

With a 2.5% VAT incress coming in to force on 1st jan 2011,will this affect stanleys walk on prices.........£13 would become £13.33 Adult standing and £15 would become £15.38 Adult seating!! :(

I think the club will have to absorb the extra, and review prices at the end of the season. If the turnstiles were to start dealing with pence, everything will slow down, and cause huge problems. It's just not worth the hassle.

Besides, the gate price never went down, when the vat was reduced a couple of years ago.

Stanley's problems were with HM Revenue and Customs, VAT comes under their remit
