Agree with most of the above , a draw was probably a fair result. The pitch was the winner, its an absolute bog, again! Though both keepers had good games. Agreed boulding had a poor game, but he isn't a left winger so no surprise for me. Razor had a superb impact and must start at stevenage on Saturday. Thought murphy was better than previous games but how keeps leam and bateson out the team is beyond me. As for the off the field incident in the clayton end, both the stewards and some of the si called stanley supporters need to take a look at thereselves, absolute disgrace.

To be fair i thought morecambe worked very hard and didnt allow stanley to settle on the ball and with playing 2 up front and 2 wide men caused Acci a lot of problems.
The pitch didnt help and only when we got some width (putterill) and an extra forward(linfield) did our tempo increase.
Had enough good chances to win the game, but morecambe would say the same!, I thought a draw was a fair result.

Murphy had a great chance to win it late on but totally fluffed it. Although with how bad we played it would have been daylight robbery should he have put it away. Dont feel he is ready for league 2 and like whats been said there are far more experienced players in the squad. Gotta question decision to give him another start after his previous performances. Mom Bavs - kept them in it but didnt like long balls hoofed up the pitch.

And I didnt see an incident either!

From whwer I was sat I could see something was happeneing at the Clayton end but don't know what, but I do know it was more exciting off the pitch than on. To say £70,000 was spent on improving the pitch is money wasted.

As I always prefer to keep my eyes on the game when all around is mayhem in the Clayton end, I understand from my mate that a lad was being "crowd surfed" and divested of several items of clothing. I took my eyes off the game for a second and saw his two bare feet above the mob's heads. Apparently his hat ended up on the pitch and was scooped up by a marshall who confiscated it. Cue an instant exodus of half the Ultras in the direction of the said marshall, after which I haven't a clue what happened. It all was extremely distracting and the cut the Clayton end noise down by about 75% for about 20 minutes. Barmy!:(

I am know pitch expert and to a degree I understand it can be hinderance to Stanley's passing game but it is the same for both sides.

Morecambe did work hard and closed down very well and to be fair they also had at least one decent claim for a penalty.

Stanley had a few personnel changes and whether that unsettled their normal flowing movement on the night I am not sure?

The two men up top always worked with one dropping off but still having the awareness of where the other was.

Google Page Ranking your right as there forwards worked as a pair, but i liked the way they defended from the front by both going wide and working hard to stop Acci playing from the back.
Notice how many times Hessey was forced to go long by being put under pressure,
Thought Gornell had another good game against Charnock, who looks a half decent player and built like a brick s--thouse !!
