Bradford game no longer all-ticket.

Looks like the club has reverted on its word. The game is no longer all-ticket. Sales must not have been great. Better decision IMHO.

See fishy site for more details.

Hopefully the Club will benefit from the descision making it a few days beforehand especially if the weather keeps up:hothothot

With the Clarets away & Rovers not playing till Monday plus being a Bank Holiday Weekend one would hope it will help stir the masses to come to the home of Quality Football at an Affordable Price:alright:

So how much money was wasted printing posters, and how many people will be put off because the posters around town say all matches are ALL TICKET. We took ours down to avoid confusion before the Oxford match.

It's not diifcult to gauge the general opinion of Stanley fans in any matter before decisions are made. By that I don't mean you need to go round and ask them all ;)

Better decision!

Defeats the object in making all 3 all ticket like, as no doubt the barnet game will be reverted aswell...

I thought this game was made all ticket on police advice? Most seemed to agree with that because of the numbers Bradford bring as it would stop them from being able to be in with the home fans???

For crying out loud. The club must have listened and thought twice about it. No need to criticise the cost of posters, at least Stanley are trying. Too much negativity , we should be backing the club not criticising. OK not all their ideas have been good but at least the club have realised teir mistake and then corrected it.

I think if we'd have beaten Macclesfield and Oxford we'd have had a much bigger crowd. Maybe the 'about turn' is in light of recent results?

The problem is the casual fan ( the ones which make up the larger Stanley crowds and more than likely have another team first choice ) will only buy tickets in advance for the big games. These are massive games to Stanley hardcore fans but to many of the 2nd level fans they still won't see it unless it's a one off big game.

I heard the Edinburgh branch of the Accys supporters club are coming down en masse.

there's every need. Its not the cost of the posters thats the issue its the damage done by all those who have read them

i think most are backing the club, but some will criticise as they see fit as well. The all ticket all 3 games (on the back of massive season ticket rises and the £50 to use the clubhouse) was a crap decision to start with and makes it look like we pick decisions out of fortune cookies.

My proposal would be that the decision makers look at their policies and revise how they come to decisions. id like to see fan consultation on some matters, maybe email to a group of fans of whatever number - at least then they'd have an idea of what their customers think before they put their foot in it and have to try to retract

There may be negativity but I would bet there isn't one poster on here who hasn't or would help the club out. ;)

I spoke to Lew yesterday. Apparently, Bradford had only sold 400 tickets so they decided to make it all ticket.

I wonder where they would find such a cross section of fans?

The problem seems to be decisions almost being rushed to perhaps make up for lost time while all the behind the scenes stuff was going on?

It's all about how the decisions are perceived and the longer term ramifications of those decisions.

Time will tell all we can ask is for is professionalism which cost's nowt.
