Re: Bradford Thread
As well as a cracking result, overall was a very good display, Proccy MoM- fair enough, would not have been disappointed if it had gone to any of em.:) if stanley play this well i am gonna enjoy Mondays game as much.:):):):) the most pleasing thing to me was well though they played, stanley have played even better at times this season.

Re: Bradford Thread
Well another home game, another 3 points. My word what a run we are on.
Another fantastic day at the ground. Yet again the whole XI where fab, particularly in the first half. Great to see Coley utilising all the subs aswell, with Rory, Lindfield and Barnett getting some more minutes under their belts. Only thing that concerned me, and probably everybody else was the argy bargy with Deano & Jimmy. On the positive side shows they have great determination especially as we where dominating the game leading 3-0. No need for Mcconville to get involved opening his mouth either, hopefully Proccy will sort it out as its his job. Other than that, perfect day. Special mention for Cisak (again) and Joyce who I thought where brilliant.! Roll on Shrewsbury on Monday, probably the biggest game since Woking away, in my opinion. |
Re: Bradford Thread
Pretty much same as Smudgie in running out of superlatives to describe the team performances.
Hard to pick a MoM as they all played well once the first went in we settled and played our passing game with some raking passes from one side of the pitch to the other with some great interchanges of speed, movement & passing. A special mention for Luke Joyce a well deserved and peach of a goal, the second was not bad either. As a man great performances, hope the injury to Craney is just a knock? Credit to the Bantams for giving it a go paticulary in the second half. We were a little further to the left of the Clayton End and noticed what goes into the Community Trust activities for the kids and all credit to them it is building fantastically well and is something that I am sure will keep expanding and bringing in the next generation of fans.:alright: Well done Matt & his Team keep up the Good Work:) |
Re: Bradford Thread
As a part time visitor from another club I have been absolutely delighted seeing Stanley's recent form but was especially pleased that you have now reached 5th place with only 4 point separating you from automatic promotion.
I can only wish you all the best for the remaining games. It's a fantastic run you're on and I am very much hoping that you can secure promotion. Good luck Accy |

Please keep spreading the word One of the most pleasing aspects of all of this is people who are neutrals or a soft spot for a local team Accy in general the team are now getting the plaudits for what in a sense is as good as you will see on it's day at any other ground in the country and I don't say that through red tinted specs but through observations by other fans and my own observations of other teams. |
Re: Bradford Thread
I am still scratching my head how a team like Bradford, which had pace, size and experience, were just brushed aside with such ease.
Accis play in patches looked like champions league not league 2, and i am beginning to think they just have no fear or nerves. Cant single anyone out as they all did there jobs and more ( although Proccy was excellent). The spat between Deano and Jimmy, shows the desire and determination which Coleman loves, both born winners, you wouldnt think they were 3-0 up lol |
Re: Bradford Thread
What happened in the Clayton End? I saw the drummer arguing with some chap?

Re: Bradford Thread
'The drummer arguing with some chap'
While we need to promote the youngsters as our future life blood, there appears to be a group of ‘feral’ under 10s who have difficulty in following the game and draw pleasure from annoying those around them even to the extent of throwing sweets at Pigdley, Bradford’s goalkeeper. A lady spoke at length to one of them, much to his displeasure. I don’t know what he had actually done, but the drummer came down to intervene which brought about a difference of opinion between her partner and himself. There appears to be no one directly responsible of these children who sadly display resentment to any suggestion of curtailing their antics. Yes, I am a grumpy old man. |
Re: Bradford Thread
Good point well made mate.
Whilst we need to encourage the next generation of stanley fans, there has to be some sort of control as every game seems to bring more and more poor behaviour from that small group directly behind the goals. |
Re: Bradford Thread
Fantastic result Mom for me Luke Joyce. Hope we can win the next one and go up automatically.

Re: Bradford Thread
by my reckoning we can just pinch 3rd place wi a point at shrewsbury,on goal difference, if we get the win i think were home n dry.:alright:
