Rory update
 

Rory saw a specialist yesterday who confirmed he has a hernia.He will be "under the knife" some time next week;date confirmed on Tuesday.This will leave him out of action for a minimum of 6 weeks.
The Club are paying for his treatment.
I am sure we all wish him a very speedy recovery.

Yes, it's by far the best course of action to deal with it now . Very sensible decision by the club/Eric to sanction his treatment early on - a half-fit Rory is no use to anyone, but a fully-fit No.11 will help the team turn things round again. I can just see the boy Prendergast reducing Halifax Town to jelly on Boxing Day and New Year's Day !
