Good interview by Dan with Sean, talking about getting to Wembley :)

Also, the importance of Bristol Rovers at the weekend.....

Not playing his best, but then we are not supposed to be a 1 man team and Boreham Wood are a difficult team to play against......

Fair point..........don't think we have many options, due to injuries and players cup-tied. Which is a problem for Coley who's not the best at using subs anyway. But as a result players get in their comfort zone and the danger is they don't always give 100%.

Our options included 9 substitutes on the bench???
Anyone not giving 100% shouldn't be wearing the shirt - or warming the bench.
Tuesday night was a 2 hour nail-biting ordeal which could have gone either way.
Frankly, I can't believe we didn't make any substitutions until extra-time (excl. Notts injury)
Any other manager would have brought Pressley on to try & win the game in normal time, we could so easily have conceded before 90 minutes.
Agree with Cashy. Any player making zero impact on the game should be off, be it the 18th or the 80th minute.
All's well that ends well, but my fingernails wont need a manicure for 6 months.

Stanley's Sean McConville

Very good interview with Sean on the website, I think Stanley means more to him than some people think :)

Not saying Sean played well - because he did not - but, he was not on his own :)

And that interview sheds a bit of light on why

You may be right, Di.
I thought he looked distracted from the kick off. Let’s hope he and the rest of the squad can relax about the outcome tomorrow and just give it a good go.

a good go is all that any fan would ask.

Super Sean McConville

Got to say that I am surprised to hear/see some of the criticism aimed at Sean

I agree that he is not a quick as he was and does struggle to go past players, but for him to be singled out - on more threads than one and by more posters than one - is strange???

If he was a striker taking every shot and missing, never passing the ball to a better placed player and missing, taking the ball off somebody about to take a penalty and missing, I could understand it maybe, but he is one player, in a team who have not played well for a number of games this season - Lincoln and Vale spring to mind recently!

World beater he is not, but he is most definitely not on his own in playing poorly this season.......

:) :)
