The irony is that Coley showed the immensely promising Putterill the door for being unfit, though never giving him a run of games, whereas Craney is, and has been, an automatic starter whilst looking distinctly, shall we say, off the pace?

He also seems to rate Lindfield too. I cannot , for the life of me, reason why. Coley's loyalty to his players is admirable, but I was surprised when Lindfield was retained this summer. Maybe it had was a budget decision. As a striker he's ineffectual, and his record will show this, but to play him as a midfielder even in a makeshift role is expecting too much from a player who has no ball control, no balance, falls over at the slightest contact, cannot tackle and ..... well basically runs round like a headless chicken... and to give him the number 7 shirt !!!!!
Some people got on Craney's back for his performance on Tuesday but Lindfield was equally as bad and today, Charlie Barnett was subbed and nobody could figure out why.
Get fit quick Danny Coid, we need you
Good points today were Guthrie and Taylor, they need encouragement cos of the effort they're puttin in.
Murdoch looks sound .Thought Long should have had MOM but can't knock Taylor gettin it.

agree wi that, perhaps whoever awarded the MoM was that dismayed about the performance, so gave it to the lad who had been on approx 30mins? who by the way made a big impression on me.

There's the rub, Cashy. Taylor made a big impression on more people in 30 mins than Lindfield has in all the time he's been here
