Excellent choice imho. As others have said, thanks for allowing us on here to have some input.

Here's wishing both parties a long and mutually fruitful partnership.

We had a meeting with the club today regarding the advertising around the ground so I thought it would be the best time to bring up what the grounds going to be called... Rob Heys and everyone we have asked have agreed that Colane Park is the best option so well done Doug!! :) I understand that alot of you wanted the Colane Crown ground but as a company its just not viable because there has been a considerable amount of money put into this and obviously we want to have as much exposure as possible... we believe and Rob Heys agrees that adding the 'crown' takes away what we are trying to achieve.

We hope that it doesn't dishearten some of you too much, we have tried to include the fans in this decision as much as possible and as you now know it was someone from this forum who's suggestion has got the final thumbs up. We just hope that you are all happy with the final decision and we hope to be able to work with the fans in any future plans that we have for the club.

So get yourselves to The Colane Park on the 17th against Torquay, try out some of our water and fruit juices, get behind the team and hopefully get a win which would be the perfect start to what we believe will be a long and exciting partnership with the club and its fans.

On Stanley On!!!

Is there some form of naming ceremony going to happen tomorrow. seems a bit pointless spending a load of money on ground sponsorship if there's no publicity
