Re: Macc Thread
Didn't think either team played well in the first half and to be fair I would have been delighted with a 1 nil lead at HT. Macc did very little in the second and by the end of the game Stanley were running the show. I thought 3 or 4 nil would have been fair enough in particular with regards to how Stanley stopped them playing.

Re: Macc Thread
I was very impressed with the Reds today, everone played well. Macc started well but stanley settled and took control. The defence deserved special mention, another clean sheet and 1700 at the game. It was a great way to start the year, keep it up Stanley I was very suited.

Re: Macc Thread
Great start to the new year, fer my money Macc weren't that bad, stanley i thought got well on top in second half, sure coley musta told em to keep ball on the ground at half time, anyway they did n were much better for it, woulda been hard to pick MoM today, was a real team effort. Well done reds, keep at em.:)

Re: Macc Thread
Well another fantastic 3 points and dare I say it, another Playoff push is in full force?? ;)
I though Macc where pretty poor , but who cares, its 3 points and thats all that matters. Lindfield looked superb, cannot believe the difference in him between this and last season, well done Craig. Paddy covered every blade of grass, my god that boy tries hard. Absolutely ESSENTIAL we keep hold of Long till the end of the season, he has nothing to lose by staying, im sure the Clarets dont need him back just yet ;) ? Its no coincidence we havent lost since Hughes arrived, his calmness on the ball just gives every player the time to get settled and pick the right pass, great to see Coley giving him a rest after an hour today. :) Interesting to see Hereford beat Burton today, MASSIVE game on Friday night now, just hope I can make it !!! |
