Feeling sorry. Dale fan

First of all I'd like to say I feel genuinely sorry for you lot. 13 years of management and then gone in a flash, suppose that's the trade of football eh? We was in the same predicament with Hill pre-season, one minute talks had fell through, the next he was gone. It's tough, but in all respect I think you'll find a suitable replacement.

Secondly. You have been a credit to your club, and your club have been a credit to the Football League. The proffesionalism shown, has been second to none!

Finally good luck! But here's to hoping Coleman does it for us! & I'm sure he'll have your backing.

Thanks officialblue. I just hope Rochdale board are not expecting a quickfix as a lot of boards seem to do with their muppett decisions to sack managers every 5 minutes. Best wishes and we'll be keeping an eye out for your results - JC is legend status at Stanley.

I know there is no love lost between our respective clubs, (never understood why and we're not all numpties) but having just been through this, I genuinely feel for you all.

Colman was a true legend for Accy someone I have much admired and his loyalty has been undoubted. Accrington will drive on, and a new era will begin, and the new management team (of which there are some good candidates out there, might just take you on and beyond you current expectations.

Genuine Good luck:)

DantySFC is a Stevenage fan.

In terms of 'no love lost between our respective clubs', I'm sure that it was almost exclusively directed at your ex-manager (see the 'Graham Westley' thread re: his behaviour at Farnborough ... no football fan should ever forgive him for that).

Looking at Dales fixtures for the next few weeks JC is gonna have to settle in pretty dam quick starting with derby game against Bury on Saturday and then away to league leaders Charlton the following week, just hope the Dale board and fans do give the dynamic duo time.

Especially as Chesterfield are at Home to Bournemouth on Friday night and a point for them will put Dale bottom and five points adrift..........

First of all,I would like to echo the OP post!

As for giving Coleman/Bell time, a lot of Dale fans are already resigned to the fact that we could well go down this season, if we do, it wont be Coleman's/Bell's fault. It would be great if Coleman/Bell can turn this season round for us, but we are not disillusioned about the task they have on their hands. They will be given time, if we do go down, then at least they will have had enough time at the club to start re-building for an assault on League 2 next season, IF we go down.

Frankly don't care what happens at Dale, (unless we are playing them! so it won't be this season).

The future starts from today. JC and JB have made their decision and decided to move. Still feel bitter towards Rochdale for upsetting my world and our clubs stability but we must all move on..................Come on Bury...........is all I can say.

100% agree. We move on to a new era.Wouldn't it be ironic if we sneaked up by the play offs and Rochdale came down!!
