On a lighter note ...

Last night's episode's featured a trivia quiz between Peter Murphy and Padraig Amond (now on BBC iPlayer - BBC iPlayer - Late Kick Off North West: 2012: Episode 2 - @ 16.38)

And the funniest line I have heard in a long time:

"Peter Murphy - the only player to be sent off while the ball was in a different postcode!" :D

"It was reported on last nights Late KO that Accy spent £100,000 last year on training facilities. A hell of a lot for clubs on limited resources. There have been issues with The Globe but at least it's contributing to the finances of the parent club."

it was over two years which working out a grand a week (although it sounds a lot) probably isn't a lot when you consider what we rent.

They have been training at Blackburn Rugby for at least a year and will rent the whole place which includes the pitches, changing rooms, canteen, r&r and probably a gym etc

The figure would probably also include travel costs as well
