does nobody think our defence is a bit like the keystone cops? obviously a john coleman side will always score goals, but what about at the back, maybe howson is "good enough" and smithy is dominating IN THE AIR! but theres no real all round class apart from cav, in the centre there is no brilliance

The back four isn't the best, but you have to realise that Smithy's only been playing in the conference for two years and hasn't been a regular, but he's doing alright there. Coleman's best four defenders doesn't necessarily mean that's his best defence playing centre backs at left back isn't the way forward although Flynn's done alright. Stanley aren't a hoofing side and perhaps need someone who knows when to be flash and when to get rid of the ball. I think someone like that would bring much needed solidity to a defence that at times has more holes than sieve.

cav is still making too many mistakes, maybe give haworth more on a chance and he might ber a better player in that position, cav can always be cover for left back and right back.

only my opinion of course :)
