The "malcolm the mole" username refers to the fact that I am a genealogist (for the benefit of Cashman who might not know, it means a Family Historian), and it is an username I use elsewhere and was the only thing that this forum would accept. I suppose that reflects the popularity of this forum at least.

So as well as being a whinger, yer n arrogant big head,Assuming i may not know. If yeh choose to now run away, Thats your choice, but it also adds tart to the view if yeh do.

Cashman, your poor standard of grammer, punctuation and spelling clearly matches your level of intelligence, which is self evident. Only someone of your level of intelligence would resort to hurling abuse instead of constructive comment.

There are rules about abusive comment on this forum but I do not expect that you have read them. Webmaster please note.

In view of your lovely comments, I shall go elsewhere this Saturday and see some decent football - without the drumming.

Grammer

I reckon Cooky is off the hook anyway, the drum is obviously far more of an irritant :D

Are you seriously telling us that you were going to come to Stanley on Saturday but now because some bloke who you've never met has given you some stick on a forum you're going to go elsewhere? A touch over-sensitive, wouldn't you say?

Besides, that was Cashy being friendly. You ought to hear him on the Clayton End when he really lays into somebody! :D

For the record since April 2010 I have attended every home game I have been able to, plus some away games. When I go to home games I sit as far away from the drums as possible, simply to avoid a headache. I would go to more away games but I have to stand near the din - so I don't bother. My wife came with me to Morecambe and not only did we have the din to put up with but some stupid twits decided that we all needed large flags etc placed around us. Given the high winds that day we thought that this was downright stupid.

As far as I am concerned if you need the help of drums to create an atmosphere there is something wrong with the football. I am not the only person who finds the loud drumming annoying, plenty of others have made the same comment to me.

Now whether folk think I am a whinger, or not, I really do not care, because I have been around far too long and I am too thick skinned to worry. I have simply made my point and I just hope that your faith in Mr Cook is not in vain.

Finally, I have lived all over the country and since 1958 and seen a lot of football in that time. Although I am not from Lancashire, my wife is, having been born and bred in the Ribble Valley. She and all her family and friends are the most friendly and welcoming people I have ever met. Sorry if I have upset some of her fellow Lancastrians.

Practice what you preach then and support the Reds

Announcing that Liam was going to be given a run then appointing someone out of the blue is hardly consistent and seems a bit strange to me. Call me a natural whinger if you like, but I predict Stanley will not be going anywhere in an upward direction in the next two years. More likely into a nosedive towards the conference.

I think I have caused enough friction on here, so I thought I would sign off.

Good luck to the team and the management.

I offered to have a wager wi yeh, about Yer nosedive to the conference comment, yeh never responded to it. All yeh are doing in my mind is proving my analysis correct, Though i must add clown to the list. If yeh think i am abusing yeh, yeh don't know the meaning of the word,so i must also question your level of intelligence? By the way theres a facility on here to report abusive posts, so go report it,if yeh think thats the case. I also question the fact you say yer a stanley fan? I doubt that very much, a football fan maybe, Many on here have had big disagreements oer the years, But its never stopped us getting on, Now put yer toys back in yer pram, theres a good mole.:D

Great news, we will have the full band going with all three drums especially for you!

As for away games, the drum is more or less banned from everywhere so theres no excuse.

Are you Depeche Mode in disguise? Miss that moaner.
